I had heard of Pinterest but really didn’t know what it was all about. Now I’m hooked! After you sign up by clicking on this link, you wil be able to create boards. You can name your boards whatever you choose, but keep it simple so people find it easier to peruse your board. Titles such as Recipes, Jewelry I love, etc. can be used. Next you add the Pin Me link to your bookmark bar. Now explore the internet to your heart’s content! When you find an image you love, click the ‘pin me’ in the bookmark bar and photos related to the website will pop up. Hover over the photo you want and you will see a ‘pin’ button. Click it, choose the board where you want your photo pinned from the drop-down menu, and voila! You can pin images from other peoples’ boards to yours as well as follow people who have similar interests. Pinterest conveniently allows you to sign in using either your Twitter or Facebook information and will find folk you can follow to get you started
The main goal of Pinterest is essentially to describe who you are in pictures. Click on the picture and you will go to the website where the photo was pinned.
